Joey
* 8 years old
* beaten with a baseball bat, tied to a tree and left to
starve
* goats who escaped from the same farm were found
by a neighbour, and when she returned them, she found
poor Joey
* took two months for him to trust people, but now he is
an in-your-face alpha male!

Amos and Patsy
* over 35 and 14, respectively
* Amos: came from Manotoulin Island - was put out in
the bush in winter time with no food or water
* is the guardian for our blind princess, Patsy
* Patsy was born at the sanctuary
* unfortunately, after getting into some donated hay
(which was rotten on the inside) her eyes became
infected and she lost her sight

Don Quixote aka "Ote"
* 14 years old
* at nine months old, he was already gelded and
no longer wanted
* now, he is the patriarch of the sanctuary, good
buddy to PrimRose, and Sheila's confidante!

Tabolinsky aka "Tabby"
* 12 years old
* came from Quebec, where he was used for logging
* at 1200 lbs, his hooves were cut way to short to
support his weight
* also, because of a very poor diet, his hooves and front
leg bones have been compromised to a point where he
is in considerable pain all the time
* he's the biggest mushpot here!

* fortunately, was a beloved pet
* came from a sheep farm
* the sheep were sold at an auction and the nice lady
decided, since he had been such a good pet for her
grandchildren, that he deserved to be in a good place -
which turned out to be PrimRose!

Justin Credible
* about 6 years old
* was smacked on the right side of his head before he
came to PrimRose, resulting in a loss of his equilibrium -
he falls over sometimes and can't run (he has to
prance!)
